I’m trying to plan my fall calendar for mini sessions this year…I have two locations in mind but I’m thinking of adding downtown Plant City as a third option. 🤔

I just absolutely adore Plant City; it has such a cute, quaint, small town vibe that is perfect for family pictures.

I’ll never forget the look on my dad’s face when I

I’ll never forget the look on my dad’s face when I told him Patrick can pass this frame down to his children and grandchildren one day. Our future family will one day hold this same exact frame in their hands.

To see him realize that his memory will live on long after he’s gone…long after I’m gone, was pretty emotional honestly.

It sometimes feels sad to face the realization that we won’t be here forever but at least we know our memories can be preserved for future generations to relive.

I wish I had pictures of my great grandparents with their children and grandchildren. But seeing the pictures I do have of them makes me feel closer to them…I look for my features in their faces and it makes me feel even more connected to them.

That’s what I want for all of the families who book a session with me. I don’t want to give just digital images…I feel like that takes the emotion out of it.

It’s just not the same.

It’s not the same experience for our children when they grow up and for their children.

Please make sure if you only get digitals…you print them out. I know life gets busy and sometimes you forget (which is why I include matching gallery boards with the digitals) but a picture truly is worth a thousand words. You’ll never regret having your pictures to hold in your hands and not just on your phone or computer.

When I started my photography business I thought my “why” was to document how fast our children grow and how meaningful it is to preserve those memories.

That is still a huge part of my passion for photography…but an even bigger part for me is uplifting moms and high school seniors. It’s helping them feel confident and beautiful in their own skin.

Maybe, in a way, by lifting others up and helping them see how gorgeous they truly are…it’s healing the part of me that didn’t get to experience that.

By doing the opposite of what my bullies did to me; I’m undoing the damage they caused.

And honestly if I could go back and change it…I don’t think I would. Because I wouldn’t be so hell bent on making sure others feel good about themselves and that they see their own unique beauty. ❤️

Class of 2024: it’s ✨finally✨ your turn!!!

A FAQ I get a lot is when should you book your senior session?

This is one of the top concerns of upcoming seniors and I’m here to help! The question of WHEN to book is an important one and there’s a lot to consider before choosing your session month.

Here’s 3 things you’ll want to think about when it comes to scheduling your senior session:

🕐 Sooner than later: The best thing you can do is BOOK YOUR SESSION EARLY! I book my sessions out a few months in advance and have to turn potential clients away every year because I’m completely booked by the Spring. This doesn’t mean that you have to HAVE your session early…this just means you are saving your session date on my calendar ahead of time!

🗓️ Consider your schedule: Depending on the time of year, you may have a lot going on. If you have school games to attend, after school practices, club meets, etc, you may want to wait until your schedule is a bit less hectic. But you can still book your session at any time – just let me know what month you’d like to schedule your session for.

📓 Yearbook deadlines: This is a BIG factor in some schools I work with. If your senior photos are due for your yearbook during a specific month, you’ll want to schedule them at least 30-60 days before then to allow time for editing, gallery upload, etc (and God forbid, rain reschedules).

Let’s get your Class of 2024 session booked! I am currently booking for fall/winter senior sessions, and my availability is running out (between family sessions and senior portraits fall and winter are craaaazy busy for me).

My goal for each family or high school senior sess

My goal for each family or high school senior session isn’t *just* to capture these moments so that they can be shared online and saved on a phone. While you will still be able to do that; I want you to be able to ALSO enjoy them in real life, in a tangible way.

So here are 3 of my favorite products for both high school senior portraits and family portraits.

1. Heirloom Albums - Sit down on the couch and flip through your favorite pictures of your graduated senior or of your family. It doubles as a coffee table book that you never have to put away.

2. Gallery Boards - I absolutely love this product because you can leave these beautiful mounted prints out on the table or on an easel, or you can also frame them. They make really cute and personalized graduation party decor.

3. Professional Frames - Last but definitely not least! Especially collage frames…they are a beautiful way to display three of your favorite images. I like to showcase a picture of the whole family, a picture of just the kids, and one of mom and dad together. For high school seniors this is really popular because they tend to not just want one large framed portrait of themselves. The framed collage shows 3 of their favorite pictures but in a size that doesn’t feel overbearing.

This family ❤️❤️❤️ Carolyn booked me for a family

This family ❤️❤️❤️

Carolyn booked me for a family session with her mom and siblings for Mother’s Day in 2018…the first full year I opened my photography business.

And she has been with me ever since. I absolutely adore her and her family; from her mom to her children…they are just amazing people.

If I had to say who I feel my biggest client cheerleader is it would be Carolyn. She didn’t know me before our first session and yet she has been so sweet and kind and supportive for the past 5 years.

I am forever thankful for her encouragement and kindness…she is one of many “clients” that have turned into friends who I just adore.

She is one of many reasons that I love what I do. Photography has brought the most beautiful souls into my life and I can not be more grateful for that. ❤️❤️❤️

I’m a little late posting today…the release of Threads has kind of thrown me for a loop. I have no idea what I’m doing over there 😂

Anyway…I’m so excited about these inspirational stickers I found to include with my senior welcome packets. I feel like the class of 2024 literally started their high school journey in the middle of a pandemic. They deserve all good things! And especially to celebrate this all the hard work they’ve done so far. ❤️

I also really really love this shop but they don’t have social media anywhere so I can’t tag them. I did reach out and they said just putting their name out there helps. Seriously though they’re adorable.
