Be Proud Of Your Progress

There are only 10 days left of 2022…doesn’t that feel crazy? I feel like 2022 has flown by!

I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the past year. I think we all should. Whether you are reflecting on professional goals or personal goals, be proud of the progress you’ve made so far.

If you’re a high school senior…think about all the hard work you’ve done to get to where you are right now. If you’re a mama…think of all the memories you’ve made and love you’ve given this whole year. Celebrate being the awesome mama you are!

I have absolutely loved photographing all of the sweet family sessions and high school senior sessions in and around Plant City, Lakeland, and Fishhawk Florida. They each have been amazing and gorgeous and worth celebrating.

BUT…I’m starting with this blog to reflect on. I have never consistently posted blogs here…until this year. For example: I posted ONCE in 2021. ONE TIME. ONE blog post. That’s it. And that wasn’t even until New Years Eve in 2021!!! Which was an exact year from the previous blog post.

When I realized that, at the end of 2021, I set a goal to blog more consistently. I didn’t have a plan; I wasn’t sure if I would post once a month or multiple times a month. I had no idea but I KNEW I had to post more. And I did.

I’M even shocked at how well I followed through on that goal. Guess how many times so far I’ve posted in 2022?

Just guess.

Are you ready?

  1. THIRTY ONE BLOG POSTS! And that isn’t including this one. I don’t know about you but I feel that is something worth being proud of!

See…most people probably won’t even think it’s that big of a deal. And that’s okay! Because it is a big deal to me. So think of your accomplishments this year…and don’t think about whether other people will think those are a big deal or not…celebrate them anyway!
